A cracking renewal of the Ascot Derby and Ralph Beckett's unbeaten AMILOC is fancied to retain his unbeaten record and go 5-5 on the back of his striking success in Goodwood's Cocked Hat Stakes. Aidan O'Brien's Lingfield Derby trial victor Puppet Master has the form to play a big part though, while fellow Irish challenger Zahrann can make his presence felt too. Nightwalker, Wimbledon Hawkeye and Green Storm all need factoring in too. Opportunity completes the shortlist.

  1. AMILOC
  2. PUPPET MASTER (IRE)
  3. ZAHRANN (IRE)
