Though BURRU didn't show a great deal in a couple of maiden chases early last year, he has subsequently improved over hurdles and is of strong interest now making his handicap debut in this sphere for new yard on a very attractive mark (8 lb lower than when second in a handicap hurdle at Navan on latest start in November). Thehairyfella will be a threat if reproducing the form of his latest effort, while Smitty Bacall also has claims and Ballagh Star would be a threat if able to bounce back.
