The old boy ARCHIE RICE has shown that there's still life in him yet, and with his ideal conditions here, might be able to take the scalps of one or two more fancied rivals. Both Vendredi Trois and Lake Shore Drive won last time out and find themselves in a better race here, but both look to have more to offer. Decimus and Generous Chief have both been around the block as well, but neither can be discounted in a wide-open contest.
