Got off the mark over hurdles in novice at Fontwell in May 2024 and may well have made a winning return from an absence over fences but for falling 2 out in Haydock handicap 19 days ago. Open to progress for a yard enjoying a good spell.

Dual hurdles winner during 2023/24 campaign offered little sent chasing after long absence at Wetherby (3m, soft) 16 days ago. Cheekpieces are also added now. Can only watch.

Gained a first win in this sphere (on the back of breathing surgery) in 3m handicap at Chepstow (3m, good) last November. Not seen again until a fine second back there (19.5f) this November. Former course hurdle winner. Has to enter calculations.

Bumper winner who posted a career-best display when successful in novice handicap hurdle at Exeter (21.5f) last December. Off 10 months, going okay when eased and pulled up after 3 out on C&D chase debut 30 days ago (found to have bled).

Got off the mark over hurdles in 21.5f Exeter handicap in March. Could only manage a well-held fifth on chase debut/reappearance but the fact he won a point earlier in career suggests he can make an impact in this sphere. The cheekpieces worn for hurdle win are refitted.

Dual C&D winner in early 2024 who added to his tally in 3m Wetherby handicap in March. Creditable third of 7 on Market Rasen reappearance 26 days ago. Merits respect at course which evidently suits.

C&D winner on soft 15 days ago but that 2-finisher race very much fell apart and he's likely worth opposing faced with a much more competitive scenario now.

Showed a bit in 3 qualifying runs over hurdles in 2023/24. A point background suggests handicap chases should be his thing but a watching brief has to be the percentage call after 682 days off.

The return to a longer trip should play to the strengths of THRUTHELOOKINGLASS who is given a chance to build on a promising first attempt over fences at Warwick last month. Fellow once-raced chaser He Knows Better would have been involved in the finish but for falling 2 out at Haydock and is feared most ahead of Petty Cash, who hasn't finished out of the first 2 over fences when completing.
