£180,000 Irish point recruit who was impressive when landing bumper/maiden hurdle at Market Rasen on first 2 starts 8 months apart. Not disgraced when midfield in Grade 2 company in October and similar form when runner-up in Kempton novice (2m) 23 days ago. Sets the standard here.

Offered something to work on (well backed) when runner-up only start in bumpers and again shaped with definite encouragement after 8 months off when fifth of 14 in maiden hurdle at Cheltenham (16.4f) 31 days ago. Good sort physically and very much the type to build on that.

Made frame on second of 2 starts in Irish points (Apr 2025) but well held in bumper/novice hurdle in recent months. Looks one for further down the line.

Cracksman gelding. Half-brother to smart hurdler Luccia and useful hurdler Hooper. Dam (h108), lightly raced over hurdles, 13f winner who stayed 2m on Flat. Lots to like on paper for top stable and he's well worthy of a second look on debut.

Showed a bit more than on debut when third in a 7-runner bumper at Taunton (16.5f, good to firm) on final start for Tom Weston in April. However, no encouragement when pulled up on last month's yard/hurdles debut at Bangor.

Didn't offer much in points but has displayed ability in pair of starts under Rules, albeit dropping away tamely following a blunder 3 out when pulled up in maiden hurdle at Huntingdon (20.6f) 10 days ago. Probably one for handicaps later on.

Down the field in pair of bumpers during the spring and off 7 months prior to finishing sixth of 11 in a Southwell maiden hurdle (15.8f) 33 days ago. However, is out of a useful stayer and he promises to come into his own in due course/over further.

Made the frame both starts in bumpers (fair form) and went with promise before seeming to find the test too much when second of 10 in maiden hurdle at Tramore (21.5f) 11 months ago. Since left Willie Mullins and he's open to improvement on debut for another top stable.

Night Wish filly who was set a stiff task for her debut and ultimately shaped like a stayer when eleventh of 18 in bumper at Cheltenham (16.8f, good) back in spring 2024. Absent since and this test could well be on the sharp side making belated hurdles debut.

Zoustar filly who improved a little on her debut form for Gary Brown back in April when sixth of 13 in bumper at Warwick (2m, good to soft) 27 days ago. Hood fitted for hurdles debut and she's probably best watched.

Lightly-raced maiden under NH rules who displayed some promise in bumpers but offered little in 2 maiden/novice hurdle runs so far this winter. Passed over.

Runner-up sole start in Irish points during the spring. 14/1, 15 lengths fourth of 5 on 2m Wetherby hurdle debut 21 days ago. From a good jumping family but she's another who will likely flourish over further at a later stage.
