Irish point winner made a successful hurdling debut at Warwick in March. Ran to similar level when second the following month. Better effort in handicaps this season when fifth of 15 at Cheltenham (2m, heavy) last month but underlines he needs a bit more from his mark.

Jumped with more fluency when making his second handicap start a winning one at Taunton (19f, good to firm) last month. First-time tongue tie worn on that occasion is retained. Open to further progress.

Dual juvenile hurdler winner for Adrian Keatley last autumn. Back on form when second in Newton Abbot selling handicap in September (only run for Daisy Hitchens) but well below that level in 3 outings for this yard since.

Won this 12 months ago and warmed up for his defence when a creditable third of 18 on Exeter reappearance in first-time blinkers (retained) 39 days ago. Should go well in this race again.

Finally got off the mark on the Flat in October and has continued the good work back hurdling, winning 2m handicaps at Plumpton and over C&D. Likely to make a bold bid for the hat-trick in his current mood.

Modest 11.5f Flat winner and similar standard over hurdles, finishing a respectable third of 9 on C&D handicap debut 26 days ago. He's 3 lb out of the weights here, though.

A competitive finale. OAKLEY'S WAY impressed with the way he went about things at Taunton and may be able to cope with a 6 lb rise but there are lots of possible dangers, headed by the hat-trick seeking Birthday Angel, Joe Tizzard handicap newcomer Sea Warrior and the returning Railway Bell.
