Won twice last season and positive start to present campaign when chasing home a handicap blot in a 3-runner Stratford handicap chase. Wasn't in the same form next time, but he's effective round here (C&D winner) and could have a say if the mood takes.

Useful bumper performer in 2023/24 season. Failed to match that level of form in 4 runs over hurdles, but his clear second to an odds-on shot in a Hereford novice 3 weeks ago was a step forward and he's interesting now switched to fences.

Fair handicap hurdler/chaser who notched second success over fences when cosily landing a fast-ground Huntingdon handicap in October. Both subsequent efforts have lacked spark, though, and he needs to bounce back.

Notched 5 wins over fences in 2023/24 and placed 3 times in the second half of last season, his best effort of that campaign being his ½-length second to the re-opposing Diplomatic Ash at Fontwell in March. Below par at the same course later that month and absent since, but claims if ready to roll.

Latest success gained in a Chepstow handicap in April 2024 and signed off last season with a creditable second off 1 lb lower at Ffos Las, pulling well clear of the third. Since undergone a wind op and each-way shout if raring to go back from an 8-month break.

Bagged third victory of last season when taking a 5-runner Taunton handicap chase (23f, soft) in February. Wasn't disgraced over the same C&D the following month and, pretty consistent on the whole, she should be in the mix here if fully tuned-up for this assignment.

Gained fourth chase win of his career when wide-margin winner at Exeter (heavy) on New Year's Day. Failed to reproduce that form in 4 subsequent starts last season, but reappearance effort over this C&D was fair given his poor record fresh and any rainfall would enhance his prospects. Interesting.

Many ifs and buts to ponder, with FLASH GORCOMBE earning the vote following much deliberation. The 8-y-o didn't shape badly on his seasonal reappearance over this C&D and will have every chance provided that the word 'soft' appears in the going description. Noahsgreatrainbow showed something more akin to his useful bumper form over hurdles at Hereford last time and will be a major threat if his jumping passes the test on this chase debut. Ede'iffs Rock is best of the rest.
