Fair hurdler/chaser got back on track after a break when third over hurdles at Exeter (21.6f, heavy) in February. However, she wasn't in the same form back there on final run of last season and her first of the present campaign wasn't particularly encouraging. Needs to do more.

Well backed when making a winning debut in an ordinary Carlisle maiden hurdle (19.3f) in the spring but didn't progress when well held on return at Uttoxeter (23.3f) in October. Still early days but will need to improve for the switch to handicaps.

Multiple winner during 2022/23 campaign (including at this track) but seemingly hasn't been the easiest to keep sound (no show previous two starts). Mark is falling but only considered if market expects a revival on reappearance.

Notched a hurdle hat-trick for Olly Murphy in the spring. Not in same form over fences but got back on track on second start for new yard when runner-up (33/1) over C&D last month. This is more competitive.

Won a pair of handicaps over 20.5f at the turn of the year. Hit and miss since, off the bridle a long way out but every chance when (shaped to run out) unseating rider 2 flights from home at Wincanton (19.8f) 3 weeks ago. Upped to 3m with cheekpieces refitted but isn't one for maximum faith.

Winning pointer. Lightly raced under Rules but showed some promise in novice/handicaps, including when well held fourth over C&D on handicap bow. Likely needed the run at Exeter on reappearance and looks worth another go over this trip back in a handicap.

Shaped much better than previously on handicap debut when third at Hereford (25.5f). Somewhat flattered by latest third at same track (19.7f) but will be better suited by the step back up in distance. Not ruled out with yard starting to find some form.

Ran his best race over hurdles when fourth of 12 on 19.5f Huntingdon handicap debut/reappearance but couldn't back that up at Doncaster over a similar trip last time, when not fully settling. Will need to race more efficiently to be competitive over this longer trip.

Won his sole start in Points and shaped encouragingly on yard/hurdling debut at Ffos Las (15.8f) in October. Beaten at long odds in maidens over inadequate trips subsequently but better expected upped markedly in trip for handicap debut (James Bowen taking over in the saddle).

Improved to get off the mark in a 12-runner handicap at Exeter (21.6f, soft) last time (Ask Her Out 1¼ lengths third). Up 6 lb but won with a bit in hand that day and should go well again if seeing out longer trip with Harry Cobden retained in the saddle.

Lightly raced since scoring twice at Perth in 2023 and went backwards from reappearance when fourth at Ffos Las in October. Unseated softly at Newcastle last time and still has a bit to find on bare form.

25 runs since his last win in 2022 but showed minor promise when fifth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (26.5f, good) in June. Well below form from out of the handicap on comeback at Exeter. Leap of faith required even with that run under his belt.

Built on previous promise in handicap hurdles last season when winning at Plumpton in December. Had excuses next 2 starts and has returned in fine heart this season, finishing 1¼ lengths behind Square Du Roule at Exeter. Reopposes on better terms and shapes as though 3m will suit. One to consider.

Won sole start in points. Maiden under Rules (bumper placed) but has been well backed on both starts this year, latest following wind surgery/5 months off when fourth at Ludlow (21.3f). That looks solid form for the grade and he may yet do better upped in trip.

Had fallen a long way in the weights (still 2 lb out of the handicap) when recording a first career success on stable debut in a conditional jockeys' handicap at Exeter (23.1f, soft) last month. Merits serious consideration racing off an unchanged mark (due to go up 7 lb).

Poor maiden hurdler who was tongue tied (retained) when pulled up in handicap at Taunton (19f) 9 months ago. Upped in trip but not easy to make a case for from 3 lb out the handicap.

Several make appeal in this 0-100 but HARDY BUCK is unpenalised for his recent Exeter success (due to race off 7 lb higher in future) and may be able to follow up. There wasn't much to separate Square Du Roule and Ask Her Out at Exeter and both should be in the mix again off revised terms, providing they see out the longer trip, while Elusive Knight could be a very interesting handicap debutant tackling 3m for the first time.
