Held back by inexperience only start in bumpers for David Simcock. Sold 19,500 gns/off 11 months, some encouragement both hurdles starts this autumn. Return to 2m in his favour.

Promise when sixth starting out in a bumper at Warwick in March and built on that with a hood added when landing 7-runner contest at Huntingdon 2 months later. Has to be of interest on hurdles bow.

Made the frame all 3 completed starts in Irish points and still looked in need of the experience on second start in a bumper when seventh of 11 at Cheltenham in October. Pleasing start over hurdles when second at Fontwell 16 days ago and that just about sets the modest standard.

Well held in a bumper on debut but, in first-time hood, showed more when fourth of 11 at Newcastle in April, having run of the race. Always behind on hurdles/stable debut recently.

€65,000 3-y-o, Jeu St Eloi gelding. Half-brother to French hurdler/chaser Gremlin du Large. Promising start when second in a Newbury bumper 4 weeks ago and he's a very interesting contender now hurdling.

Castle Du Berlais gelding. Dam unraced sister to useful hurdler (stayed 19f) Bravissimo and half-sister to winning hurdler/fairly useful chaser (17f-23f winner) Dashing Rose. Off mark in Irish points at fourth attempt but looks a long-term project under Rules. Off a year.

£72,000 4-y-o, second foal: dam unraced. Runner-up both starts in Irish points (latest Nov 2024). Makes hurdling debut in weak-looking maiden.

Showed ability on British debut when going close in a Warwick bumper (soft) in December but did plenty wrong when well held at Ayr on final start for Nicky Henderson (since changed hands for £21,000). Hood removed and opening effort for this yard over hurdles wasn't devoid of promise.

Pulled up in a pair of maiden hurdles prior to showing more. albeit a distant fourth in an 8-runner novice at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft, 400/1) in October. Since had a breathing op.
