Fairly useful bumper winner. Yet to score over hurdles but returned with excellent placed efforts at Uttoxeter and Cheltenham. Big shout if taking to fences at first attempt (third both starts in Irish points).

Temperament isn't all it could be but clearly possesses an engine and produced one of his better efforts when runner-up at Warwick on final run last season despite some haphazard jumping. However, didn't take to chasing at Bangor on return so easy enough to look elsewhere.

Bumper winner who was workmanlike when landing the odds on hurdling debut at Chepstow on last season's return. Disappointed there 5 months later (bled) and off since (has left Paul Nicholls). Makes chase/handicap bow. Tongue strap on for 1st time.

Back-to-back handicap chase winner last winter and looked an improved model when routing the opposition on his reappearance at Worcester. Never involved in better company off revised mark at Aintree since but should get back on track here.

Had been knocking on the door over fences and finally off the mark in this sphere at Market Rasen in May, responding well to headgear. Run was probably needed on comeback here 18 days ago and better expected now.

Scored at Windsor (28.7f) in January and some decent efforts in defeat subsequently. However, went with little fluency at Cheltenham last 2 starts after a break and drop back in trip not ideal.
