Dransfields CIU National Charity Handicap Hurdle

Not scored over timber since 2023 and finished well held on recent return on level at Wolverhampton. Others more persuasive.

Fairly useful winner on Flat and landed a brace of juvenile hurdles in February/March. Disappointed under both codes since, though, and others are more convincing.

Made winning start over hurdles at Ludlow in February and should be spot on after reappearance fifth of 12 in handicap at Aintree (17f, good, 11/1) 21 days ago. Remains with potential.

Back to winning ways at Sedgefield in March (16.8f). Below that form since but may have needed last month's reappearance and is now 2 lb lower.

Won 2 of his 3 starts over hurdles last season and successful twice on the Flat this year. Stepped up on reappearance run when creditable fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (15.8f, good to soft) 18 days ago and looks a likely player.

Offered more, on second start back from lengthy absence, when fourth of 7 in handicap hurdle (18/1) at Wetherby (16f, good) 28 days ago. Dropped 2 lb since and can make presence felt.

Plenty of creditable placed efforts last season, finishing ahead of a couple of next time out winners at Perth. Found improvement to get off the mark at Uttoxeter (15.8f) in May but ran poorly on return at Ayr earlier this month. Others preferred.
