Bumper/dual hurdle winner who looks to have a bright future over fences judged on his opening success in Kempton novice handicap 6 weeks ago. A 7 lb rise shouldn't prevent a bold bid.

Fairly useful hurdles winner for Gordon Elliott last term (changed hands for €420,000) and reached a similar level on Flat for this yard, winning at Ffos Las in August. Switches to fences on his return to jumps. Yard also runs Koapey.

Free-going sort who made a successful start to his chasing career in 2m Chepstow novice handicap 23 days ago but he didn't progress over hurdles last season so needs to prove he can build on that.

Changed hands for €450,000 prior to landing Grade 2 Adonis Juvenile Hurdle at Kempton in February. Struggled in Aintree Grade 1 on final start but quickly back on the up when making a successful chase/handicap debut at the same venue 3 weeks ago. Will go on improving.

A very useful contest. MAMBONUMBERFIVE took really well to fences at Aintree and gets the nod to make light of a 5 lb rise. Bluey and Secret des Dieux are other promising first-time-out chase winners who should have more to offer, while Captain Bellamy has the profile of one likely to go on to better things over fences.
