Fair handicap chaser (winner when trained in France) and back over hurdles he gained a first British success in 4-runner handicap at Lingfield (23f) in February. Good third at Worcester (20f) on reappearance and he could be thereabouts once more.

Three-time C&D winner who made all at Plumpton on return. Again ran well when fourth at this C&D in October, before finding it tougher in a bigger field when seventh of 16 here on latest outing. Capable of making a bold bid.

C&D winner under this rider in April but wasn't in the same form at Fontwell the following month. After 6 months off, looked rusty when fourth of 16 back here 20 days ago, so he could fare better with his recent run behind him.

Ended last season at the top of his game having won 2 of his final 3 starts, including when taking advantage of his lower chase mark at this course (23.6f) in March. Has been absent since but he enters calculations back over hurdles.

Chase winner here last autumn but failed to complete on final 2 starts last term. After 7 months off, returned to form back hurdling when scoring at Newton Abbot (26.5f) in September, though was found to have bled and ran poorly at Ludlow last time. Bounce back called for.

After another try over fences in July, returned to form back hurdling when placed on next 2 starts. Lesser effort in first-time blinkers when sixth of 16 at this C&D 20 days ago, but he's well worth another chance with usual cheekpieces back on.

Made winning start over hurdles in mares' novice at this course a year ago and, in first-time cheekpieces, best effort since when third on handicap bow here (19.6f) in March. Pulled on up seasonal/chase debut at Uttoxeter 22 days ago and blinkers now reached for back hurdling.

Down the field in bumpers and has fared no better over hurdles, in first-time cheekpieces when pulled up in maiden at Plumpton (20.5f) 19 days ago. Long way out of the weights as she makes handicap debut.

LELANTOS placed twice back over hurdles before a change of headgear failed to have the desired effect at this C&D last time, so with cheekpieces reapplied he could be ready to take advantage of his reduced mark. Icaque de L'Isle ran well when third at Worcester on return and is feared most, ahead of Groom de Cotte who ended last season in top form.
