Ran to a fair level in a trio of bumpers last season but, after 8 months off, was well beaten when seventh of 14 in maiden at this C&D on hurdles bow 16 days ago. Looks one for further down the line.

Made the frame in 2 points and runner-up in a bumper for Mrs Caroline McCaldin. Encouraging third at this course on stable/hurdling debut in October, before unseating rider having clipped heels at Fontwell 2 weeks ago, looking threatening at the time. Major player.

Made the frame on last 2 starts in Irish points but went with little promise switched to Rules when pulled up in maiden hurdle at Ffos Las (20f) 12 days ago. Needs to leave his recent run well behind.

Well bred and shaped promisingly when runner-up in Wincanton bumper on debut, before forcing the pace when below that level next time. After 7 months off, shaped as if better for the run when fifth in maiden here (19.4f) on hurdling debut, so he could take a step forward.

Runner-up on the first of 2 starts in bumpers after his hurdling debut last season. After 10 months off ahead of first run since leaving P. Tobin, finished a distant third of 11 back hurdling in maiden at Fontwell (19.1f) in October. Needs another run for a handicap mark.

Of those with experience, DOCTORS HILL sets the standard after his promising third here on hurdling debut. He was unfortunate to then unseat at Fontwell 2 weeks ago, going well approaching the home turn at the time, and he could be ready to gain compensation. A couple of hurdling debutants catch the eye, though, with Razors Edge preferred ahead of Lasko des Obeaux.
