Jack Hobbs mare who is from a good family and she looked a useful prospect when winning a course bumper on debut in February. Well held in Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in April but she remains with potential now going hurdling after 7 months off.

Irish point winner and she also bagged a bumper at Uttoxeter last October. Signed off last term with an excellent second in listed bumper and produced a promising effort on hurdling bow following an 8-month break when runner-up at Uttoxeter recently. Leading claims with improvement likely.

Made an encouraging start to her career when runner-up in a Punchestown bumper in January but failed to build on that a couple of months later at Leopardstown. Has joined the excellent Harry Derham yard since and she's not dismissed on hurdles bow.

Offered plenty to work on when fourth of 16 on her debut here in November 2023 but clearly had her share of issues to have missed all of 2024 and little in the way of promise on hurdles the last twice (latest after 7 months off). Hard to see her featuring.

Hillstar mare. Half-sister to fair hurdler Born In Borris and modest hurdler Lara Trot. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (2m-2¾m winner) Ballyholland. Successful both starts in points in spring 2025 so needs keeping a close eye on in the betting.

Showed ability on only start in bumpers last autumn and was ridden with an eye on the future sent hurdling when fifth of 11 in maiden at Uttoxeter (15.8f, soft) 3 weeks ago, finishing with running left under considerate handling. Sure to improve as her stamina is drawn out.

Showed a bit more than on debut when going close at Hereford in March and matched that the following month when tenth at Cheltenham. Bred to excel over jumps, he's worth keeping an eye on sent hurdling after 7 months off (hooded for first time).

Made an encouraging start to her career when second of 18 in bumper at Cheltenham (16.8f, good) 7 months ago. Very much one to consider on hurdling bow for in-form connections.

Little show in bumpers but hinted at promise when a free-going third of 7 in novice at Huntingdon (19.6f, good to firm) on her hurdles bow last month. Jumped ponderously at Uttoxeter since and looks more likely to make her mark in handicaps.

Similar form when fourth in a couple of bumpers at Newbury/Chepstow10 months apart. More of a jumper in any case and the market should prove informative.

A race that looks sure to throw up plenty of future winners. The suggestion here is DREAM SHADOW, who produced a promising effort on return/hurdling bow when runner-up at Uttoxeter recently and with progress on the cards, Fergal O'Brien's 6-y-o could well take some stopping. Betty's Daisy is an exciting hurdling debutante for the in-form Ben Pauling so she heads up the opposition, with Noble Grace and Twistthenightaway another couple worth considering, too.
