Smart handicap chaser at his best for Willie Mullins but offered little last season and was always behind starting out for this yard here on return.

Better than ever last season, gaining his second 2m win at Chepstow in February. Stiff task from out of the handicap on return here last month but better expected now.

Flat/hurdles/chase winner for E. J. O'Grady and has made a decent start for this yard, creditable fifth back over fences at Down Royal 16 days ago. Respected.

Not at best last term though did end the campaign with encouraging runs at Kempton and Sandown. Starts the season off a potentially good mark so worth a second look having won this in 2023.

Fair hurdles winner who found improvement sent chasing last season, confirming previous promise when landing the odds in a Southwell handicap on New Year's Day. Ended the campaign in good form and can go well fresh. One to consider.

Flat/hurdle winner who has taken to fences better than might have been expected given his physique/Flat background, winning 2m handicaps at Taunton and Chepstow last term. Shaped well when second at Wetherby on return and can have another good season.

Hurdles winner in France who made a winning chase debut in good style at Compiegne on final start for Mlle Daniela Mele in March. Looks an interesting recruit for Joseph O'Brien.

One-time useful chaser for Willie Mullins. No show first 4 runs for new connections this year but stopped the slide in first-time headgear when close third at Aintree last week. Player with a repeat.

Took advantage of lower chase mark at Wexford this summer and shaped as if still in good form next 2 starts (badly hampered). Not taken lightly.

Capitalised on a reduced mark at Newbury in March and showed a good attitude to follow up at Chepstow following month. Career best probably needed if he's to complete the hat-trick on return, though.

Free-going front runner who has mostly disappointed since winning first 2 starts over fences early in 2023. Up against it from a long way out of the handicap.

CABHFUILFUNGI did well switched to fences last season and can go well fresh, so shades the vote in an open race. 2023 winner Triple Trade ended last season with a couple of encouraging runs and is potentially on a nice mark, while Glengouly responded positively to cheekpieces when a back-to-form third at Aintree last week.
