Cleeve Hurdle winner here last winter who is possibly too high in the weights now but went with all his old zest on last month's return over C&D and may come on for the run.

Notably consistent type who won 3 times last season, including on the New Course here in April. Creditable third of 13 at Haydock the following month and made a pleasing return when fourth (Supremely West 3rd) of 17 over C&D 3 weeks ago. Seems sure to give another good account.

Useful for Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole, winning 3m Haydock handicap in the mud last December. Had breathing operation ahead of an encouraging reappearance for Dan Skelton over C&D 3 weeks ago and very much of interest here.

Progressed again to record a fourth success over hurdles in 17-runner handicap at Punchestown (23.5f) in June. Below form both starts back on the level since and further improvement needed to defy an appreciably higher mark.

3m winner at Doncaster in March and bettered that form when third of 17 in a valuable handicap at Uttoxeter (23f, soft) later that month. Poor run at Haydock in May but probably needed the run back from 6 months off when well held over C&D recently.

Winning hurdler who got off the mark on his chasing bow at Newbury (2½m, soft) in February. Bettered than form when second of 6 in 22.5f handicap there in March and not seen to best effect reverting to hurdling in a race run at a stop-start gallop at Aintree (24.7f) just under 3 weeks ago. Player.

Hurdle/chaser winner for Philip Rothwell in Ireland who made a successful start for the Dan Skelton yard in Newton Abbot handicap in September. Acquitted himself well in a much stronger race when sixth of 17 over C&D 3 weeks ago and ought to remain competitive.

Completed a hat-trick over hurdles in late 2021 and in winning form on the Flat at Dundalk in February 2023 but shaped with no promise in 3 runs (1 hurdle and 2 on the Flat) for new yard last year. Lots to prove from 8 lb out of the weights.

SUPREMELY WEST shaped most encouragingly on his first start for Dan Skelton when third of 17 to the promising Ma Shantou over C&D 3 weeks ago and, with the timefigure supporting the performance, he's a confident selection to confirm the promise of that run and come out on top. Long Draw finished only a place behind the selection in the aforementioned race and is slightly better off at the weights, so promises to go well again, with the lightly-raced Kikijo also feared.
