Won second of 2 outings in Irish points and runner-up starting out over hurdles in a maiden on this card 12 month ago. However, he has failed to progress from that and mark for this handicap debut is no gift. Yard also saddles Bo Cruz.

Runner-up on first of her 2 starts in bumpers and stepped up on what was a pretty low-key hurdles debut when third of 12 in a mares' maiden at Wetherby (19.7f, good) in March. Perhaps needed her reappearance spin at Perth last month, but step forward will be needed on this handicap bow.

Runner-up on completed start in Irish points and while he failed to threaten in his qualifying runs, improvement was forthcoming upped to 20.3f on handicap debut at Newcastle (good to soft) during the spring. Each-way claims if able to build on that back from an 8-month break.

Shaped encouragingly when third in a Hereford bumper on debut last December. Just minor promise first 3 starts in this sphere, but raised his game when fourth of 9 on handicap bow upped to 2½m at Worcester (good to soft) recently and there should be better to come from this 4-y-o.

Point bumper winner in February 2024, but hasn't pulled up any trees under Rules so far and others make more appeal.

Opened account in maiden points at the fifth attempt last spring. Bettered modest maiden/novice form when fifth of 10 pitched into a handicap for the first time at Hexham (2½m, good to soft) on latest start in March and resumes here on a 2 lb lower mark.

Left previous form behind when second to runaway odds-on winner Captain Wallace on handicap debut at Southwell (20.4f, good) in April 2024. Laboured effort upped to 2¾m at Stratford the following month, though, and subsequent absence is naturally a concern.

Placed sole start between the flags and hopes can be high that this 4-y-o will improve on his form in 2m novice events now upped in trip for this handicap debut. One to monitor closely in the betting.

Dual point winner who showed a bit when midfield only start in bumpers here last November. However, she'll need to leave her maiden/novice hurdle form a long way behind if she's to make an impact now handicapping.

Couple of fair efforts to his name over hurdles, not least his fourth in a 13-runner Hexham handicap (2m, good to soft) off an 8 lb higher mark in March. Below that level since (tried over fences the last twice), but will be a threat off this reduced mark if on-song.

There were positives to glean from DEARKEITHANDKATY's recent handicap debut fourth at Worcester and he appeals as the type to improve with experience. Fellow 4-y-o Drop Kick has been handed what looks a fair mark for this handicap bow and he is feared most ahead of Always A Reason, Bo Cruz and Rock N Roll Champ.
