Useful chaser at his best (left for Terence O'Brien for £14,000) and was easy to back when third in a 4-runner hurdle at Southwell on stable debut/reappearance, not knocked about and showing plenty of ability remains. Place claims if building on that.

Stylish 2m hurdler at his best but off the track for 20 months since winning in heavy conditions at Chepstow (2m) in February 2024, scoring with plenty in hand having typically travelled strongly. Interesting to see if the market expects him to resume progress on return.

Made a very promising start to his career when runner-up in valuable Newbury bumper and didn't need to match hurdling debut form to land a Wincanton maiden in December. Disappointing when turned over at short odds there next time but starts handicap career on a potentially lenient mark.

Free-going sort was a winner of a maiden and novice hurdle last season. Posted best effort in handicaps when finishing midfield in the Imperial Cup at Sandown (2m) but couldn't build on that over the same C&D last time. In calmer waters and not ruled out if he can keep his exuberance in check.

Fairly useful hurdler made all at Uttoxeter/ Hereford novice last autumn for Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole. Shaped as if every bit of good on first start for new connections at Southwell last month (not helped by late error) but will need to build on that in a more competitive race.

Took a big enough step forward from his bumper debut when making a successful start over hurdles at Ludlow (15.8f, soft) in February, showing plenty of inexperience but knuckling down well to see off fairly useful runner-up. In good hands and has scope for improvement on handicap debut.

Fair form over hurdles/fences. Claimed from J. Delaunay for €13,001 but pulled up on stable debut at Chepstow last month, beaten quickly. Something to prove.

Fairly useful winner at 12f on Flat and got off the mark in this sphere in a 2m Wincanton handicap in December last year for Paul Nicholls. Yet to beat a rival in 3 starts on the Flat for new yard and has questions to answer back over hurdles.

Off the mark in a Sedgefield maiden back in December and matched that when runner-up behind a tenacious, race-fit rival on handicap debut at Wetherby (2m) on reappearance 24 days ago. That form has been given a boost and he could yet be capable of better.

Fair maiden hurdler for Ross O'Sullivan in Ireland, shaping well in handicaps over this sort of trip in the summer. This looks a bit tougher on stable debut.

Travelled well to land fourth win of a productive season when scoring at Catterick (2m) in February and finished his campaign in good heart when third in a valuable series final at Musselburgh (17.4f) in March. Should be competitive if ready to roll on reappearance.

Mark had been in freefall following a string of poor effort for current yard but found some form for the refitting of blinkers, finishing runner-up in back-to-back handicaps at Cartmel over the summer. Remains to be seen if he can back that up in better company.

Lightly raced 8-y-o DOMINIC'S FAULT was on the up before being brought down at Sandown in January and given his record when fresh, he's fancied to make a winning return. There's surely more to come from Don't Mind If I Do who could be well-treated on first start in a handicap, while Ludlow winner Le Yacht is completely unexposed on his handicap bow. Paddys Policy's Wetherby form has been given a boost and he's another to consider in an interesting handicap for the grade.
