Smart stayer who landed the Liverpool Hurdle in April 2023 and followed up on his reappearance last season in a Newbury Grade 2. Good second when bidding to defend his Liverpool Hurdle crown on final run of 2024/25 campaign in April and he won't go down without a fight if fully tuned-up for this.

Scaled new heights when seeing off stablemate Jeriko du Reponet in the Pertemps Final at the Cheltenham Festival (3m, good to soft) in March. Lost little caste in defeat when chasing home that rival at Punchestown a month later, but will need to raise his game another notch now upped in class.

Won sole bumper and first 4 starts over hurdles, including a Grade 1 at Aintree (17f, soft) last December. Couldn't cut it in the Turners Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival when last seen in March (since undergone a wind op), but that was a very strong renewal and he remains of interest.

Made the frame in several Grade 1s last season, albeit without threatening to land a real blow in any of the races in question. Still, he put in a good shift when ninth of 19 in a major Flat handicap recently and Willie Mullins' raiders can never be safely discounted.

Winner of listed race on this card 12 months ago before landing a mares' Grade 2 at Ascot in January. Went on to finish third in Grade 1s won by top-notch mare Lossiemouth at the big spring festivals and, having shaped well on return in a valuable Chepstow handicap, she has to be taken seriously.

The mare TAKE NO CHANCES left the strong impression that this step back up in trip would be right up her street when sixth under a big weight on return in a strong Chepstow handicap three weeks ago. She probably doesn't need to improve much on what she showed when placed in Grade 1s at the Cheltenham and Aintree spring festivals in order to go very close in this contest. Strong Leader will be a big threat if ready to roll, while Winter Fog and Potters Charm add extra spice to an intriguing race.
