Sole hurdles success was gained in a novices' handicap at this course (heavy) for Tom Lacey on Boxing Day 2023. Had wind surgery prior to this year but hasn't carried much of a win threat in either start. Remains to be seen if a drop in grade/return to this course can spark a better effort.

Bagged pair of handicaps at Southwell and Kempton during the spring, the latter gained off a mark 6 lb higher than this. Wasn't seen to best effect over a longer trip at this track last time (left with plenty to do) and he's clearly capable off this sort of mark.

Best effort of the season when runner-up at Market Rasen (18.6f) last month, may have won the race for the second consecutive year had he been delivered a little later. Over a longer trip here and remains one to be interested in racing off his last winning mark.

Maiden has yet to recapture previous form for current connections, finishing midfield (50/1) in a handicap hurdle at Galway (22.3f, soft) 24 days ago. Mark continues to fall but only considered if the betting hints at improvement.

Landed a Down Royal handicap hurdle for Philip Rothwell but left that stable after pulling up in a Limerick handicap chase in May. Again pulled up on first start for new yard in August and has something to prove now.

Veteran arrives in decent nick but needed a stronger gallop stepping back up to 3m when fifth in a 9-runner handicap hurdle at Perth (heavy) 10 days ago. May not find this enough of a test dropping back down in distance.

Winless since 2023 and didn't offer much on sole hurdle start for new connections in August. In better form on the Flat since though and interesting to see if he can back that up tackling the longest trip he's faced over hurdles.

Point winner was much improved for the longer trip/wind surgery when justifying strong support in a 3m1f handicap hurdle at Plumpton (heavy) 11 days ago (since left Olly Muphy). Faces different conditions on stable debut but further progress not ruled out.

Bettered previous efforts when chasing home long odds-on winner on final run for Paul Collins in April. Shaped better than the bare result when fourth on handicap/stable debut at Hexham (20.1f) on reappearance earlier this month and ought to be much more competitive here.

Went close in a couple of handicaps prior to getting off the mark at Stratford (26.4f) in July. Likely to have given his running (following 8 weeks off) barring an untimely error at Market Rasen last time but may fall short back down in trip.

Latest hurdles run was her best one when splitting a pair of subsequent winners at Sedgefield (19.9f, good to firm) in May. In good heart on the Flat since, breaking her maiden in a staying handicap at Wolverhampton last time. Could have more to offer over a longer trip on hurdles return.

Caused something of a surprise following a breathing operation when relishing step up to 3m at Southwell in April but in nothing like that form since, for all he likely needed the run over 3m here earlier this month. Needs to do more back down in trip.

LILLISTAR's latest hurdles run was her best one (splitting a pair of subsequent winners) and having broken her maiden on the Flat last time, she could have more to offer tackling a longer trip back over jumps. Bannister may have won had he been delivered later at Market Rasen and remains of interest from his last winning mark, while Thank You Blue looks well-treated if he can build on recent performances. Princess Milania also merits respect under a penalty for new connections.
