Modest at best in bumpers and well held on Newcastle hurdling debut in February. Major step forward needed.

Order Of St George gelding who very much had the run of the race when second of 7 in bumper at Doncaster (16.6f) on debut in April and went backwards from that effort when last of 10 at Ffos Last next time.

Unplaced sole start in Irish points (Apr 2024) and didn't show much on Rules debut at Ffos Las in the spring. Probably one for later on.

Free-going sort in bumpers and just poor form both starts over hurdles, looking temperamental at Huntingdon on most recent outing.

€80,000 3-y-o, £52,000 5-y-o, Pastorius gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including bumper winner/fairly useful 19f hurdle winner Port Joulain and fair hurdler/chaser Horacio Apple's. Off mark in Irish points at third attempt in May and needs a close in the betting ahead of Rules debut.

Successful on last of 4 starts in Irish points (Apr 2025). Shaped better than bare result when a well-held third on his recent Fontwell hurdling debut (17.7f) and seems sure to do better.

Held every chance when falling at the last in his sole Irish point and progressive in bumpers last season, scoring by 8 lengths at Wetherby on final start. Came a long way short of justifying strong support on his Perth hurdling debut but clearly has hit in him to do a lot better.

Well-bred sort who shaped as if sharper for the run when fifth of 12 in his sole bumper at Doncaster (16.6f, good) in March and may step up on that run now going hurdling.

Much improved from debut (fairly useful form) when 1¾ lengths second of 15 in juvenile at Compiegne (17.9f, soft) in April. Has since left N. George & A. Zetterholm and sets a good standard.

Improved on debut form to win 8-runner bumper at Bangor (16.7f, good, 7/2) in April. Made a satisfactory start over hurdles when third of 11 at Worcester last month but this drop back in trip isn't sure to be in his favour.

13:47 Stratford - 30 October 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

WANDERING EGO fell a long way short of market expectations sent hurdling after 6 months off at Perth, but is surely worth another chance given the impression he created in a Wetherby bumper back in the spring. Brace For Landing sets a fairly useful standard on his French form on first run for the Skeltons, while Park Talk shaped better than the distance beaten suggests on his hurdling/Rules debut at Fontwell and seems sure to do better.
