Ran best race for this yard when second over 1m at York in September and had remained in good heart prior to a forgivable effort over a markedly longer trip at York (10.3f) 2 weeks ago. Tackles 7f for the first time on these shores and should be more competitive.

C&D winner on debut for Hugo Palmer but has lost his way, showing little in two starts for new connections (did stumble soon after start latest). Plenty to prove now.

Majority of his wins have come on soft/heavy ground. Too keen in a better race at Haydock (1m) 8 days ago but drops in trip here and he's one to consider from below his winning mark with conditions to suit.

Least exposed runner in the field and he showed improved form on just his fifth start to win a 17-runner handicap at Ascot (7f, good) 22 days ago, suited by the step up to 7f. Softer ground a slight unknown but he remains open to improvement.

Hasn't built on a positive start to the season, pulled hard in a first-time visor (now removed) when well beaten at Ayr last time. Bit to prove but is slowly coming down the weights and previous wins have come under these conditions.

Won a claimer at Chester in August but disappointed in handicaps since. Caught out for a change of pace in a slowly-run all-weather seller latest and has something to find back in a handicap.

Winner of 1 lb higher at York (7f, good to firm) but ran of his lesser races when well held over the same C&D last month. Acts on softer conditions and could be competitive if bouncing back to form.

Newbury nursery winner in the mud last season but has failed to get competitive in only 3 starts this season. Remains to be seen if he can get back on track returned to softer conditions in first-time headgear.

Has enjoyed a remarkable season winning 6 of his last 8 starts (all bar one coming at Ayr) including a career-best when a decisive winner of an 8-runner handicap at Ayr (7.2f, heavy) earlier this month. Thriving at present and should give another good account upped in grade.

Course winner (heavy) as a juvenile. As good as ever when recording a second success of the season at Redcar (6f, soft) this time last year and should be fitter for a recent spin on the all-weather. Stamina to prove on first start over 7f but makes appeal with conditions now in his favour.

Won a 6f novice at the track following wind surgery in July but hasn't built on a promise start in handicaps. Has been given a break and could be seen to be better effect stepping back up in trip, if handling more testing conditions.

Twice a winner under these conditions as a juvenile last year and has shaped well on less testing ground this season. Best forgiven latest run (raced too freely in first-time blinkers - now wears cheekpieces) and he makes plenty of appeal off this sort of mark now that he's got his ground.

Back to his best when successful (with the assistance of the stewards) at Pontefract (6f, soft) last month but not in the same form when well held in a better race over the same C&D 19 days ago. Eased in grade for return to 7f but will need to improve to resume winning ways.

Lightly-raced for his age and enjoyed a fruitful time of things last year despite displaying some quirks. Yet to fire this season but there isn't an abundance of pace on here and he could be well-positioned. Not ruled out from his falling mark.

Ran well to finish third at Pontefract (6f) in June and probably needed the run (wore first-time tongue strap - now removed) following 4 months off at Newcastle last month. Will be suited by the return to 7f but slower ground raises a question mark.

Highly competitive but TACTICAL PLAN has his ground for the first time this season and he appeals most from a handy-looking mark. Unexposed Rainbow Nebula is a handicapper on the up and has to feared if handling softer conditions, while On The River merits respect having fallen below his last winning mark. Dwindling Funds is thriving and cannot be discounted in a better race, while Terries Royale is yet to fire this season but has fallen down the weights and could be worth another chance.
