Has done really well since leaving Paul Webber last summer, winning 4 times in 2024/25 before making an encouraging return to finish second at Huntingdon (19.9f, good to firm) 16 days ago. Remains on a competitive mark and merits plenty of respect.

Won a 2m handicap chase at Hereford by 11 lengths in March but yard haven't been firing at present and he looked rusty when last of 4 in handicap chase at this C&D (good to firm, 9/2) 15 days ago. Much more needed.

Dual winner over hurdles in the first half of last season and was back at his best over fences when second of 8 in handicap chase (7/1) at Uttoxeter (16f, good) last month. Running well when taking a late fall at Southwell 3 weeks ago and he should be involved if none the worse.

Back-to-back winner over fences/hurdles in April and added to his tally when accounting for 10 rivals in a Worcester handicap hurdle (23f, good) at the end of August. Outclassed when third at Newton Abbot last time and others make greater appeal, with his jumping remaining a slight concern.

16:37 Ludlow - 23 October 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

PEP TALKING progressed well for Billy Aprahamian last season and can build on an encouraging comeback run. Cawthorne Cracker finished runner-up on his latest completed start over fences and may well have filled the same position if not for a late fall last time, so has to be respected, with Stardhem, who won his first 2 starts over fences last year, also respected.
