Made the frame on both starts in bumpers a couple of seasons back but essentially well held in handful of starts in novice/maiden hurdles during 2024/25 campaign. Would need to see market support behind him now handicapping on the back of 7 months off.

Sole success came on debut in a Market Rasen bumper 4 years ago but not long with this yard and he again shaped well when second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Perth (20.2f, good to soft) 28 days ago, finishing with a bit of running left. One to bear in mind.

5-y-o who offered something to work on when third in a Kempton novice (2m) last winter. Failed to improve on that in 2 runs after for Tom Ellis, looking awkward when fifth of 10 on handicap debut at Newcastle (20.3f) in January. Switched yards/had wind surgery ahead of return and betting can guide.

Steadily went the right way in handicaps/with cheekpieces enlisted last season, building on pair of runner-up efforts when making all in 10-runner contest at Newcastle (20.3f) in March. Switched yards ahead of return and there could yet be more to come from this 7-y-o.

Took a significant step forward with cheekpieces enlisted when runner-up on handicap debut here (19.1f) in August. Subsequent Hexham fifth 20 days ago has to go down as disappointing, yet that came on soft ground and forecast quicker ground here can see him in a better light.

Maiden who offered precious little in 3 starts over hurdles/fences last term but did at least show some ability remains when finishing 1 length third of 8 in handicap hurdle at this course (25.7f) back in May. Whether he can build on that now is open to question, however.

Well-beaten in pair of bumpers and similar story on each of his completed starts during the first half of the year (fell only other start). Goes handicapping now on the back of 135 days off but only confidence behind her in the betting would make her of interest.

Lightly-raced mare who finished runner-up only start in a French bumper but no form over hurdles since yard debut third in 2023, returning from another break when last of 9 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (20f, soft) 38 days ago.

Finished well held on bumper debut at Exeter last winter and it has been a similar story in this sphere so far, no upturn for switch to handicaps when fifth of 10 in a C&D contest back in May (never travelling well). Needs to have improved in the intervening 6 months if he's to figure.

Maiden who was a good second at Stratford (2¾m, good to soft) on first completed start for this yard in March. Not so good next 2 starts but not disgraced sixth at Uttoxeter (23.3f) when last seen in July, the longer trip possibly stretching her. This appeals as being more suitable.

Westerner gelding who has yet to better poor form, not disgraced but never threatening to play a part when eighth of 12 in handicap hurdle (8/1) at this course (19.1f, good) in April. Much more needed on return and he's operating from 4 lb out of the weights on this occasion.

JINGLE JANGLE JET proved steadily progressive in handicaps with cheekpieces enlisted during the second half of last season, gaining a breakthrough success at Newcastle when last seen in March. Appealing as the type who could rate higher still now starting out for Ben Pauling, he could well be the way to go. Kopa Kilana's maiden status over hurdles is off-putting yet he has been shaping up well of late and needs factoring in. Call Your Bluff is another to note on return/debut for Emma Lavelle.
