Fred & Mercy Rimell Memorial Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Point/bumper winner who quickly made into a fairly useful winning hurdler in 2023/24 and shaped well when fourth of 8 on his chasing bow at Warwick in January for Nicky Henderson. Too free after another stable switch on return this month.

Took his form up a notch with headgear enlisted at the start of 2024, winning 3 on the spin. Not so good last season, though stopped the slide when second at Kelso final start. Interesting runner off potentially lenient mark for in-form new connections.

In top form last autumn and picked up where he left off when completing a hat-trick of 5-runner handicaps at Southwell in May. Well held 4 subsequent starts, however.

Progressive winning 2m hurdler last term. Unseated his rider at the 2nd at Perth on his chasing bow 27 days ago but worth another chance.

Fair winning hurdler who ended last season in good form. Out of a winning chaser so respected now switched to fences on return.

Some good placed efforts last term and should be sharper for his comeback run at Fontwell.

From a good jumping family and showed ability in 3 runs over hurdles last season. Chasing type but ideal distance is likely to be further than this.

Gained a first victory when scoring easily at Uttoxeter in February. Good second of 4 at Leicester (15.9f, heavy) next time but ran no sort of race final start. Off 6 months.

Held her form well over fences last season without winning. Can go well fresh so respected on return.
