Nick And Valda Embiricos Memorial Novices' Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Ran best race over hurdles when runner-up in a maiden at this track (20.5f) last December but pulled-up all three starts that followed. Has clearly had his issues and remains to be seen if he can do better on chase debut following another breathing operation.

Winner of his previous three chase starts, typically not the most fluent over his fences when landing a 7-runner handicap at Fontwell (26f) last month (looks solid form for the grade). Again found things tougher on the Flat last time but has been found another winnable race over fences.

Landed a double at Newton Abbot (latterly on testing ground) in August but has lost his way, merely closing up late there on Saturday.
