Westerner gelding. Dam (h107), ran twice over hurdles, half-sister to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser (stayed 27f) Lord Getaway. Newcomer is likely one for the longer term.

Looked set to make a successful hurdles bow when falling at the last over C&D (heavy) in January (eventual winner now a smart sort). Back on track when third in a 2m Wexford maiden (good to soft) on final start last season and could be the one to beat returning to this C&D with rain forecast.

Maiden pointer finished fourth on Rules debut in a race that has produced a few improvers but couldn't match that form when twelfth of 14 in novice hurdle (33/1) at Ballinrobe (16.3f, good) in May. Likely to be better off in handicaps.

Doctor Dino gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to (stayed 3m) Morosini and (stayed 2½m) L'yser (both useful hurdlers). Made the frame second of 2 starts in points (Apr 2025) and is in top hands for his hurdle debut. Worth a market check.

Won back-to-back bumpers to start his career before finishing fourth (beaten favourite) in a listed bumper at Cheltenham in November. Again couldn't justify his market position when fourth on hurdles debut at Navan but that looks a fairly useful race and he should improve second time up.

Sageburg gelding reached the frame in both point starts but offered little win threat when ninth of 14 in a bumper (50/1) at Cork (19f, good to soft) on NH debut in April. Makes hurdles debut but likely to need more time/distance.

Imperial Monarch gelding. Dam unraced sister to fairly useful hurdler/fair chaser (stayed 3m) Toye Native. Newcomer is likely to be one for the future.

Beat a subsequent winner with scoring in smooth fashion on debut in a 2½ Listowel bumper. Disappointed next time and was easy to back when making an underwhelming start over hurdles last month. Drops back to 2m but should be more competitive with that experience under his belt.

Bumper placed on debut and travelled well when runner-up at Cork on hurdles bow. Has shaped well on both starts since, latest following 9 months off when third of 18 in a Listowel novice hurdle where few got involved. Entitled to improve for that run and he's a leading contender.

Successful on sole outing in Points. Bumper form has worked out well, for all he was beaten a long way when fifth at Fairyhouse (2m) in January, at a time when the yard were struggling. Looks an interesting hurdling debutant for top stable.

Walks In June (4/5), Torps (7/2), Minella Hollow (4/1), Beckistine (11/1), Gunnery Sergeant (11/1), Themanintheanorak (25/1), Ard Raithin (50/1), Startthatmachine (125/1), Mister Loolah (150/1), Come Home Sonny (150/1)

BECKINSTINE was undone by a fall at the final flight when set to make a successful hurdles debut over this C&D last season and he's fancied to make amends with the forecast rain in his favour. Torps has shaped well on each of his hurdle runs to date and heads the dangers. Minella Hollow is expected to improve from his Navan fourth while Walks In June looks a very interesting hurdling debutant.
