Winner on the Flat over the summer and progressed again returned to hurdles when second (4½ lengths ahead of Nelson Muntz) in a novice hurdle at Killarney (17f, good to soft, 11/1) 11 days ago. Could be the one to beat if staying the longer trip.

Fairly useful Flat winner. Bumped into an improver when second at Galway and didn't need to improve to win 11-runner novice hurdle at Tramore (16f). No impact on handicap bow when well held in a listed handicap at Listowel but could make more of an impact in calmer waters if seeing out 2½m.

Winner of a steadily run maiden in hurdle at Sligo (20.8f) in August. Disappointed on handicap debut when seventh of 8 in handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (22f, soft) 34 days ago. Remains to be seen if he can bounce back down in trip on better ground.

Best effort on qualifying run when fourth of 14 in novice hurdle at Wexford (16f, good to soft), finishing ahead of a few that have improved subsequently. Looks interesting now tackling handicaps over a longer trip.

Placed in three maiden hurdles but didn't improve sent handicapping, sixth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Tramore (20.3f, good to soft) 7 days ago. Probably too soon to write off with good value conditional taking over in the saddle.

Maiden was well held with tongue strap on for first time (retained) when fourth of 6 in novice hurdle (50/1) at Killarney (17f, good to soft) 11 days ago, finishing behind two of today's rivals. Steps back up in trip but may again prove vulnerable in novice company.

TASSAROLO progressed again when runner-up at Killarney earlier this month and has leading claims if seeing out the longer trip. Nelson Muntz finished 4½ lengths behind Tassarolo last time but could improve for the step up to 2½m, while Lambay Island looks interesting upped in distance on handicap debut.
