Lightly-raced gelding who tends to race freely and hang left, finishing seventh of 13 in a handicap at Bath (12/1) 16 days ago after weakening in the final furlong. First-time tongue strap now.

Showed some promise in hood at Chelmsford (6f) before finishing eighth of 9 in handicap at same course (7f) at 40/1 14 days ago, took strong hold and longer trip didn't suit. Hood now removed and dropping back to 5f may help.

Last of 11 in maiden at Newbury (18/1) 49 days ago where she pulled hard and made no impression. Making handicap debut today and previous fourth here was better.

Shown greenness in maiden turf starts, most recently 6th of 8 at Ripon (12/1) 51 days ago when failing to settle with hood. Gelded after. Hood removed for handicap/all-weather debut and may show improvement.

Won at Brighton over 6f on soft ground in first-time cheekpieces 31 days ago. Fourth of 9 in Newcastle handicap over 6f (4/1) 20 days ago, running almost as well in defeat as when winning previously. Could be equally effective back at the minimum trip on this surface.

Won a 5f handicap at Wolverhampton (5/1) 5 days ago, hanging right but showing improvement dropped back in trip. Can go well again under a penalty.

Runner-up in 5f handicaps, including at this course in August and again at Wolverhampton on Saturday behind Mad Unicorn, leading until final 100 yards. Solid.
