Bumper placed and made a promising hurdling debut when fourth in a 2m Uttoxeter novice (that has produced 3 subsequent novice hurdle winners), despite being keen and not jumping fluently. Arrives on the back of another absence but clearly has ability if putting it all together over the longer trip.

€40,000 5-y-. Closely related to a winner, and half-brother to smart hurdler/fairly useful chaser Mister Miyagi. Dam a fair 2½m-3m hurdle winner. Off mark in Irish points at second attempt (May 2025). Has joined an excellent yard and no surprise to see him make a bold bid on Rules/hurdle debut.

Much improved from his hurdling debut and well suited by the step up in trip when runner-up in a 2½m Hexham novice in June, only beaten by an improving winner and pulled clear of the rest. Down in distance on his return but still commands plenty of respect in a winnable maiden.

In good hands but well held in 3 bumpers last season. Finished a bit closer at long odds (250/1) on hurdles debut at Perth (16.2f) last month but will likely be better off in handicaps.

Fairly useful handicapper at best on Flat (stays 1¼m) but became disappointing on the Flat this season and was too headstrong when well beaten on hurdles debut at Perth (16.2f) last month. Wears first-time hood but remains with a bit to prove.

Probably flattered when fourth in a novice hurdle at Kelso in May prior to finishing tailed off at Perth (20.2f) the following month. Drops back in trip on reappearance but will likely struggle to make an impact in this company.

Modest maiden on Flat for Andre Fabre (runner-up in a pair of maidens, stays 1½m) and shaped as if in need of the run on reappearance/stable debut at Ripon 19 days ago. Market should offer plenty of clues on first start over hurdles.

This could be a good opportunity for Point winner CAVE BRIDGE to make a winning start over hurdles for Harry Derham. Ryebridge drops back in trip following a much improved effort when runner-up over 2½m but still commands plenty of respect in a winnable maiden, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. Aeroplane Blonde did plenty wrong when fourth at Uttoxeter but that form has worked out well and he could be a threat if putting it all together over a longer trip following another break.
