Though operating below his best of late, VANTHEMAN could be worth backing. Indeed, the 4-y-o has been given a chance by the handicapper and will have a big say if reproducing the form of his Hamilton second earlier this season or his creditable fourth in this last year when 10 lb higher in the weights. Roach Power is an obvious danger in his hat-trick bid and Squealer, who possesses plenty of solid form here, is also shortlisted. Kinswoman has to be considered, too, along with Azure Angel.
