Having run out a good winner on return at Doncaster in July, ABSOLUTE STAR failed to build as expected on that display when down the field back at that venue next time. However, given a 55-day break and now returned to 1m, Roger Varian's filly looks well worth another chance to get back on the up in a race where few, if any hold many secrets from the assessor. Daisy Roots on the back of success at Lingfield, Kitaro Kich and former C&D winner Kaaranah are others to consider.
