7/2
Point/hurdles winner who made a bright start over fences when runner-up in a Market Rasen handicap in May 2024. However, he hasn't come close to matching that in 4 subsequent starts, including both runs for new yard this year. Now tried in a tongue strap.

9/2
Rather hit-and-miss since winning 3 on the bounce during spring 2024 but, on the upside, she has come down the weights (now 12 lb below last winning mark) and would have a serious chance if back to something like her best.

6/1
Winless since landing back-to-back novice hurdles in 2023, but he did show an aptitude for this game until his stamina ran dry upped to 22.6f for his chase debut here last month. This trip will be more suitable and he's dangerous to discount off an attractive mark.

Latest win over fences was gained here back in June 2023 and also struck over hurdles here last October. Wouldn't be without hope off this mark if on-song, but he has failed to fire in 3 of his 4 starts this year and is probably worth taking on back from a 4-month break.

6/1
Winless following 8 attempts between the flags and modest form over hurdles. Showed more spark when second on chase debut here (17f, good) in May and while he failed to build on that back here next time, this step up in trip could be just what he needs. Has undergone a wind op.

Modest winner on hurdles debut last summer, but 0-7 since and while he wasn't beaten far on the second of his 3 starts since switched to fences, this step back up in trip is of dubious benefit.

15/2
Hurdles winner for Nicky Henderson who, having tumbled down the weights, raised his game when landing back-to-back handicap chases here during the summer (the latter over C&D). Perhaps shouldn't be judged too harshly on his latest run at Worcester and may well bounce back returned to this course.

Forecasts

Sleeping Satellite (7/2), Trapista (9/2), Lord Maher (9/2), Begin The Luck (11/2), Blackijo Dagrostis (6/1), Songo (6/1), Boom Boom (15/2)

17:00 Stratford - 6 October 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

BLACKIJO DAGROSTIS failed to build on his chase debut promise when fourth behind the re-opposing Boom Boom over 17f here during the summer, but he meets that rival on significantly better terms now and, moreover, this step up in trip may help spark some improvement. Trapista is lurking on a dangerous mark and is feared most ahead of Boom Boom, but Songo has also come down the weights and could have a part to play on his second run over fences.
