Ardad colt who improved on a low-key debut effort when third of 11 in 6f AW maiden at Lingfield (11/2) 21 days ago, having been ridden more positively. Further progress rates distinctly possible but his draw in stall 12 makes things tricky.

£18,000 Ardad gelding. Very green but showed a bit by the end when fifth of 8 in a novice race at this course (16/1) 18 days ago, slowly into stride before making late headway. In good hands and he should do better again. One of 2 runners from this yard.

Kodiac colt who was making debut when fourth of 6 in novice race at Goodwood (18/1) 134 days ago, showing inexperience and running green. Surprise were he not capable of better given his stable but nurseries in due course could well be more his bag.

Foaled April 3. £350,000 yearling. Tasleet colt. Well-bred, closely related to useful 6f two-year-old winner Cool Hoof Luke and dam is sister to smart sprinter Lohit. From a stable operating at a solid strike rate.

Foaled February 23. $30,000 yearling, 220,000 gns. Union Rags colt. Dam was an unraced half-sister to smart winner A Shin Spartan. Betting can point the way on debut.

Finished 4th of 7 at Carlisle over 5.8f in August before fifth of 8 at Redcar (16/1) 18 days ago when short of room and staying on late. Makes AW debut and step back up in trip is expected to suit.

COCONUT COVE has shaped promisingly in both starts to date, finishing second on debut before an eye-catching third at Goodwood when still very green but keeping on well. First-time hood could help her settle better for this all-weather bow. Return of the Gods is an appealing newcomer on paper (cost £350,000 as a yearling also), Manly Fireball showed improvement when third at Lingfield recently and he, along with Watchdog also make each-way appeal.
