Contested some hot handicaps this season and wasn't disgraced with sights lowered finishing midfield in a 12-runner handicap at Ripon (6f, good) 6 days ago, having been typically slowly away. This track should suit better but will need plenty to drop right to snap his losing run.

Likeably consistent type whose only blip came on first start over 5f here in July. Shaped as if still in good form when seventh in the 25-runner Ayr Gold Cup (6f, soft) 13 days ago, doing all he could from a less-than-ideal position. Looks solid and should give another good account.

Thriving back over 6f, showed improved form to beat Zoulu Chief in a Racing League event at Windsor (6f, firm) and followed up with a career-best when winning a 19-runner handicap over C&D (good) 27 days ago. That form is working out well and he could make a bold bid for the hat-trick.

Useful juvenile for Sylvester Kirk and made a positive start for new yard when fourth in the Group 3 Pavilion over C&D. Struggled in the Jersey at Royal Ascot prior to finishing last on handicap debut at Chepstow (7.1f) in August, the trip alone not to blame. Bit to prove back over 6f.

Has enjoyed a fruitful season, including a win and second (solid form) over C&D. Ran a cracker when runner-up behind a progressive 3-y-o in the Ayr Silver Cup (form already working out), finishing first home in his group. Versatile regards tactics/ground and should go well again.

Runner-up in a Group 3 over C&D last year but is yet to fire this season, finishing a bit closer but failing to land a serious blow when eighth in a 12-runner handicap at Doncaster (6.5f). Blinkers back on but hasn't looked like capitalising on falling mark.

Runner-up over C&D earlier in the season and has progressed since, landing a 6f double at York/Newcastle prior to shaping much better than the result when fifth in a valuable 23-runner handicap at Curragh (6f) 19 days ago. Handles some cut in the ground and remains one to be interested in.

Shaped well from further back than ideal when third in a 9-runner handicap at Haydock (7f) in July but ran a bit flat when fourth in a better handicap on the July Course (7f) last time, coming off the bridle before most. First-time blinkers will need to sharpen him up back over a sprint trip.

Three-time 6f winner as a juvenile for previous yard (including on heavy) and following an up-and-down season, got back to his best when runner-up behind a consistent sort in a 16-runner handicap at Doncaster (6f) 3 weeks ago. Should hold his own upped in grade.

Arrives on a losing run but hard to knock his consistency, best effort of the season when third in the Dash at York (6f) in July and again gave his running when a never-nearer sixth (just over 2 lengths behind Bob Mali) at Doncaster last time. May prove vulnerable for win purposes again.

A few of these are yet to hit their ceiling and it could pay to side with hat-trick seeking BROSAY, the form of his latest C&D win is working out well and he won't be inconvenienced by the forecast rain. Tuco Salamanca shaped well when bidding for his own hat-trick in a valuable handicap at the Curragh and looks tailor-made for Jamie Spencer, while Sondad has ran a cracker on both starts here and was as good as ever when second in a strong renewal of the Ayr Silver Cup.
