Veteran course winner who ran right up to best when third over 20f here in April and ran as well as could be expecting back from 4 months off when runner-up over C&D 17 days ago. Should remain competitive if in similar form here.

Landed quickfire double at Cartmel in May but looked to have lost his way prior to bounced back when third (behind Artic Mann) in a similar contest over C&D earlier this month (badly hampered early). Moved through the race as if back in form that day and ought to give another good account.

Landed a hat-trick around 3m last November and after a steady start to this season arrives back at the top of her game, coming from last to win a steadily run 11-runner conditionals' handicap at Uttoxeter (23.3f, good) 9 days ago. Makes plenty of appeal off an unchanged mark back down in grade.

Lightly raced 6-y-o who has shaped well in handicaps this season, runner-up for the third time in 4 races when chasing home a well-treated rival at Worcester (23f) earlier this month. Tongue strap now added to cheekpieces and this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark.

C&D winner in July and had been running with credit prior to turning in a lacklustre effort when finishing a well held fourth (behind two of today's rivals) in a C&D handicap 17 days ago. Needs to bounce back and likely requires further respite from the handicapper.

Promise on handicap debut when third at Wexford (20.5f) last month, unlucky not to finish closer in first-time cheekpieces having been short of room. Unable to build on that when midfield in a Navan handicap (19f) 5 days ago but she's in good hands and could get back on track over this longer trip.

Hit and miss over hurdles/fences this year, hinted at a revival in a handicap chase at Cartmel (21.2f) in June but took a step backwards when a well beaten fourth over the same C&D the following month. Reverts to hurdles but others look more solid.

THE FLYING POET has bumped into a couple of well-treated rivals this season and in a race lacking obvious pace, he could be well-placed to get off the mark under a positive Sean Bowen ride. You Some Girl merits plenty of respect back down in grade off an unchanged mark following her recent Uttoxeter success, while Evenwood Sonofagun shaped as though right back to form when third over C&D last time.
