Arrives following back-to-back victories in weak handicap chases, again didn't fully convince with his jumping when winning a 4-runner contest over C&D last month. This looks more competitive and he'll need to improve to make it a hat-trick over fences.

4-time winner over fences but completely lost his way last season, last seen pulling-up in a veterans' chase in February. Something to prove on his return.

Better than ever and likeably consistent over hurdles and fences since joining the James Owen stable. Well on top at the finish when winning an 8-runner chase at Sedgefield (21.1f) earlier this month and could be open to improvement tackling the longest trip he's faced for current connections.

Resurgent over hurdles since capitalising on a career-low mark at Southwell in March, winning back-to-back handicaps over the summer and proving better than ever when runner-up at Newton Abbot 13 days ago. Respected from 12 lb lower chase mark on only his third start over fences.

Justified support with cheekpieces refitted (retained) when easily getting off the mark in this sphere over C&D 15 days ago, made all and jumped well. That wasn't a strong race but he won with plenty in hand and should go well again for a yard who've had a good time of things this season.

Well-backed to get off the mark in a 3m2f Uttoxeter chase on soft ground last July. Hasn't matched that form on three starts on better ground since, for all he likely needed the run on reappearance at Worcester last month. Should come on for that but best form has come on easier ground.

Made the most of a good opportunity at Taunton in April but hasn't troubled the judge since. Bounced back from a pair of lesser efforts when runner-up (no match for winner) in first-time cheekpieces at Newton Abbot (25.8f) last month. Should remain competitive if headgear has same effect.

IVANE has been ultra-consistent since joining the James Owen stable and may be able to improve again over the longest trip he's faced for these connections. He's taken to follow up his recent Sedgefield success, with Ballynaheer feared most having won comfortably over this C&D 15 days ago. The market should prove informative regarding the Christian Williams' trio, but it could be significant that Jack Tudor partners Faded Fantasy who races off a 10 lb lower mark on just his third chase start.
