Flat winner for Ed Dunlop who landed as juvenile maiden at Fakenham (2m) in April. Mark rose as a result and he failed to land a blow when fourth of 7 in handicap hurdle (5/1) at Southwell (15.8f, good) in June. Absent since and others appear better treated.

Won back-to-back races at Worcester/Bangor at the start of the campaign before a solid second in hat-trick bid at Stratford. Quickly dispelled a lesser effort when fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (19.6f) 16 days ago and this veteran looks likely to give his running again.

C&D winner who picked up where he left off returning from a 7-month absence when scoring at Worcester in June. Good fourth next time and bang there for a long way before weakening late on when seventh behind re-opposing Jet Patrol at Stratford 5 weeks ago. Eased 2 lb ahead of this.

A fair 1m winner on the level who posted his best effort over hurdles when runner-up in a C&D handicap in March. Couldn't quite replicate that performance when fourth at Kempton (2m) a month later and whilst absent since he's certainly not out of things from this mark. Hood/tongue tie fitted.

Off the mark in gritty fashion in 5-runner C&D handicap in March. Pulled up next start but resumed after 5 months off with a very good third of 11 in handicap hurdle at Stratford (16.3f, good, 25/1) 15 days ago, losing second near the finish. Entitled to be sharper here and she's respected.

Low-mileage 8-y-o who matched rather than bettered her exploits in novice company when third of 11 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell (17.7f, good) 23 days ago. Cheekpieces/tongue tie now reached for and surprise if we've seen all she has to offer just yet.

Showed the immediate benefit of a switch to James Owen with a comfortable Stratford success in August. However, typically took a strong hold and never threatened back at that venue 15 days ago. Tongue tie now applied and he's certainly a player if putting it all together again.

Little impact in point bumpers and failed to better poor form in handful of starts over hurdles, albeit shaping better than the distance beaten suggests when fourth of 7 in handicap at Bangor (19.6f) 92 days ago. Made a very interesting yard switch since and she's an intriguing contender here.

Ran one of better races when runner-up at Taunton (19f, good) in April but failed to get anywhere near that level in pair of starts in May/June. Refitting of cheekpieces/3-month break need to have positive effect ahead of this.

Forecasts

Jet Patrol (7/2), Lady Caro (7/2), Sain Et Sauf (9/2), Everest (11/2), Ez Tiger (7/1), Superstylin (10/1), Stage Show (12/1), Character Testing (12/1), G'day Aussie (14/1), Zenato (16/1)

14:50 Plumpton - 21 September 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

C&D winner LADY CARO looked as good as ever on the back of a 5-month break when finishing a good third at Stratford 2 weeks ago and, entitled to be sharper with that under her belt, she looks to hold sound claims from this sort of mark. Sain et Sauf is an intriguing debutante for Fergal O'Brien and confidence behind her in the betting would need to be viewed positively. Jet Patrol and Everest are others to bear in mind.
