Novice winner for John & Thady Gosden in 2024 and doubled career tally in Qatar for current connections in January. However, has found it tougher back in Europe last 2 starts, for all he wasn't seen to best effect in a deep conditions race at Longchamp (1m) in July. Needs more back in a handicap.

Useful in Group company in the Middle East and bounced back to form when third of 9 in at Epsom (7f, good to firm, 7/1) 18 days ago. Remains of interest in a similar handicap and won't be inconvenienced by any rainfall.

Hasn't stood much racing since debut success back in 2023. Finished sixth of 10 in handicap at Chester (7.6f, good to firm) 13 days ago, left poorly placed after a slow start but did make late headway. Not ruled out if he can build on that run now eased in grade.

Struggled in competitive handicaps at Goodwood and York last month but drops in grade here and races off 3 lb below his winning mark. Interesting to see if the market expects him to bounce back reunited with Danny Tudhope.

Won three consecutive 7f handicaps earlier this season and backed that up when runner-up off this mark at Musselburgh last month. Always on the back foot after a slow start when fourth of 9 in handicap at Epsom (7f, good to firm) 18 days ago. No surprise to see him make more of an impact here.

Better than ever on all-weather early this year but well beaten latest turf start in June. Probably needed the run back on the all-weather when twelfth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) 15 days ago but will need to take a big step forward to get his head in front back on turf.

Hasn't fired in most recent starts, again well held following a further 4 months off when last of 8 in handicap (50/1) at Kempton (7f) 24 days ago. Has a bit to prove now.

Had been consistent in similar handicaps prior to turning in a rare-below par effort on final start for Pam Sly 44 days ago. Hood refitted and no surprise to see him bounce back quickly on debut for yard who went close with a stable-switcher last week.

Won 7f novice at Southwell in February but yet to build on promise of handicap debut, underperformed from a good track position when eighth of 10 in handicap (8/1) at Newbury (7f, good to firm) in June. Handicapper has given him a chance if back on song following a break.

NATIVE AMERICAN, a useful performer in Group company in the Middle East earlier this year, has less to prove than most having bounced back to form when third at Epsom last time. He's ground-versatile and is preferred to Blue For You, who could be interesting back in calmer waters, and Crimson Spirit who was only just behind Native American at Epsom despite a slow start. Of the rest, Physique could well bounce back on first start for a yard who went close with a stable-switcher last week.
