Dubawi filly. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, sister to smart 5f-7f winner Blue De Vega. Made an encouraging start to her career when third in what is likely to prove a strong Newmarket maiden on debut last month, just under 2 lengths behind Classic Cuvee. Entitled to improve for top yard.

Bred to stay well and has shown plenty of ability amidst greenness, taking a step forward from her debut when chasing home one destined for a higher grade at Galway (7f) in July. Entered in the Group 1 Fillies' Mile and should keep on improving for yard who won this race with Whirl last season.

Siyouni filly is bred in the purple and made a promising start to her career when second in a 6-runner maiden at Newmarket (7f) last month, running green but keeping on well to finish ahead of a subsequent winner. Still holds a Group 1 entry and is open to plenty of improvement.

Frankel filly. Sister to 2-y-o 1m winner on sole start Contingent and useful stayer Prince Imperial. Dam 2-y-o 7f/1m (Prix Marcel Boussac) winner who stayed 1¼m. Makes plenty of appeal on paper for excellent yard and is one to monitor for support on racecourse debut.

Lope De Vega filly (related to middle-distance types) showed promise but was no match for an improving winner when second in a 10-runner maiden at Haydock (6f) on debut in July, notably green under pressure and shaped as though this step up to 7f will suit. Entitled to improve.

Plenty of quality in her pedigree and made a promising debut when third in an 11-runner maiden at Newbury (6f) 15 days ago, travelled well but found out by her inexperience late on (winner well beaten in a better race next time). Likely improver over 7f for yard having fine season with juveniles.

370,000 gns yearling, Too Darn Hot filly. Dam, 8.3f winner who stayed 1½m, half-sister to useful/ungenuine 2-y-o 8.3f winner (stayed 10.5f) My Lord And Master. Expensive purchase is in good hands for racecourse debut and the market should prove informative.

Forecasts

Amelia Earhart (2/1), Classic Cuvee (7/2), Wid (5/1), Al Qaysiyya (5/1), Splish Splash (10/1), Fractional (10/1), Leading Dancer (20/1), Bluebluelectricblu (25/1), Tres Chaud (33/1), Lady Gormire (33/1), Lady Birgma (250/1)

16:10 Doncaster - 12 September 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

CLASSIC CUVEE is bred in the purple and shaped well amid greenness to finish second on debut at Newmarket last month. She's entitled to improve plenty for that experience and still holds an entry in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket. She's preferred to Ballydoyle's Amelia Earhart whose entered in the same Group 1 next month and looks the type to go on improving. Of the rest, Al Qaysiyya could step forward from her debut fourth behind Classix Cuvee, while Splish Splash isn't one to underestimate.
