Left debut effort behind when landing a 5f Brighton maiden in May and far from disgraced when eighth of 20 in the Coventry at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm) since. Limitations rather exposed in Group company (up to 7f) and now goes up in trip for his in-form yard.

Foaled March 1. Night of Thunder colt. Dam, 6f winner, half-sister to very smart winner up to 1¼m Royal Rhyme. Created a serious impression when a wide-margin winner on debut at Newbury 3 weeks ago. Sure to leave bare form behind and well worth place at this level.

Too Darn Hot colt. Half-brother to 2 winners. Dam once-raced sister to smart winner up to 1½m Qualify out of useful 12.7f winner Perihelion. Excellent start when landing 5-runner novice at Newmarket 3 weeks ago (1m). Form ordinary in context of this but there's more to come

Highly-promising type who caught the eye in no uncertain terms on debut and saw off a next-time-out winner from the Charlie Appleby yard back at Sandown 3 weeks later (both 7f). Swerved the Solario Stakes last week and has the potential for significant improvement. Up in trip.

Foaled February 24. King of Change half-brother to 7f winner Negwah. Dam, unraced, closely related to useful 1¼m/11f winner Delicatezza out of useful 1¼m winner Wickwing Winning debut despite obvious signs of greenness over 7f here a month ago, battling well. This asks a different question.

Sixth of 9 pitched into the Chesham at Ascot (50/1) on debut and confirmed that promise in much calmer waters when successful at Catterick in July (7f). Wasn't fully extended in doing so but does lack the scope of a few of these.

Hamilton winner who shaped very well when finishing strongly for close second in 6f listed event at Newmarket in June. Matched that form when hitting the frame in Group company, latterly over 7f and she stuck to her task on that occasion suggests 1m will be within range.

Forecasts

Bow Echo (5/6), Publish (11/4), Shayem (10/1), Bourbon Blues (11/1), Midnight Tango (12/1), Glacius (18/1), He's Waliim (20/1), Tailgunner Joe (50/1)

13:50 Haydock - 6 September 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A couple of smart 2-y-os clash in the form of BOW ECHO and Publish. The latter is held in high regard and drying ground is presumably in his favour tackling 1m for the first time but the former created such a fine impression on debut that he is marginally preferred. Midnight Tango is slightly more exposed but promises to stay 1m and is a danger to the pair in receipt of 5 lb.
