Smart performer who performed well twice in listed company during the spring and was touched off by Diligent Harry in a Newcastle Group 3 in June. However, he was well behind Lazzat at Royal Ascot earlier that month and efforts since his Newcastle near-miss have lacked spark.

French raider who didn't do much wrong in 2024, a campaign he rounded off by finishing fourth of 20 to Kind of Blue in the Champions Sprint at Ascot. Below par in a Deauville Group 1 last time but won well at the same course on penultimate start and any rain would boost his prospects.

Bounced back to his best under a well-judged ride when making all in the Group 3 Chipchase at Newcastle in June, proving a neck too strong for Annaf with a below-par Kind of Blue back in eighth. Wasn't disgraced when fifth to Rage of Bamby at Newbury since but biting off more than he can chew here.

Impressive in a C&D Group 2 and the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot last term prior to coming up short when favourite for that season's renewal of both the July Cup and this race. Appeared to back on the right path with a Group 2 success at York in May but has followed that with 2 poor efforts.

Enjoyed fine 3-y-o campaign, successful 4 times and shaped better than the result when mid-field in the Champions Sprint won by Kind of Blue at Ascot in October. Stepped up on this season's previous efforts when winning a Group 2 at the Curragh (6f, good) in May but subsequent absence is a concern.

Developed into one of the best sprinters around last season, beaten just a head in this race 12 months ago before going one better in the Champions Sprint at Ascot. Well below par first 2 starts this time round but latest third in an Irish Group 3 was more like it and he needs considering.

Classy French sprinter who had several of these behind when making a winning British debut in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee at Royal Ascot in June. Turned over when odds-on for the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville next time, a race he won in 2024, but he's still the one to beat.

Enjoyed a terrific 2024 campaign, winning 4 times and placed on several occasions. Runner-up on 3 of his 4 starts so far this season, including in the Group 3 Phoenix Sprint at the Curragh (6f, good to firm) last month, but likely to come up short now upped to the highest level.

Developed into a smart sprinter in 2023 and posted his best effort for some time when third of 14 to No Half Measures in the July Cup at Newmarket (6f, good). Clearly retains plenty of ability but perhaps not enough for him to emerge as a major player in this.

Followed his encouraging Ascot reappearance third to Big Mojo with a series of low-key efforts but the addition of cheekpieces and return to 5f saw him finish a fine second in the Nunthorpe at York 15 days ago. The challenge is to build on that now that he moves back up to 6f.

Made up into a smart 2-y-o last season and perfect start to this campaign when landing an Ascot Group 3 in April. Largely creditable efforts since, not least when just touched off by No Half Measures in the July Cup, but will need to find a bit of improvement from somewhere if he's to take this.

Smart and consistent filly who was just touched off by Inisherin on return at York before finishing third to Lazzat at Royal Ascot. Latest run in the July Cup can be overlooked and she's a live each-way candidate for a race in which she was an unlucky-in-running fifth 12 months ago.

Unraced at 2 but had a great 3-y-o campaign and scaled new heights when accounting for Big Mojo and 12 others in the July Cup at Newmarket last time. However, several of her rivals seemingly underperformed that day and she'll need to deliver an even bigger performance in order to follow up here.

Career best when making a breakthrough at pattern level in the Group 3 Hackwood at Newbury (6f, good) in July. Dropping back to this trip will help having found 7f too much of a test in a Group 2 next time but what won't be helpful here is the quality of the opposition.

Progressive filly who was a fine fourth to Time For Sandals in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot prior to proving 1½ lengths too strong for Nighteyes in the Group 3 Summer Stakes at York. Found things happening too quickly down to 5f in the Nunthorpe since and she's an each-way player back at 6f.

Dual Group-race scorer at 2 yrs and followed home winner Time For Sandals in the far side group when eighth of 21 in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot. Appears to have improved since, winning twice in ready fashion in Ireland, and she's an intriguing candidate for last year's winning yard.

Quickly made up into a smart 2-y-o and has advanced her reputation this season, placed in a couple of Group 3s prior to landing the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot (6f, firm). Solid third in the 5f King George at Goodwood since and she's a key player back up in trip here.

On the face of it SKY MAJESTY has a bit to find with some of these but the manner of her recent victory in Ireland suggested that she is still improving. The Blue Point filly is versatile ground-wise and, from a value standpoint, is an appealing alternative to French raider Lazzat, who is the one to beat based on form such as his Royal Ascot success in June. Time For Sandals also bagged a Group 1 at the Royal meeting and is greatly respected, while Kind of Blue is another with strong claims.
