Capitalised on a much-reduced mark when scoring at Worcester in June and followed up from 3 lb higher at Market Rasen (21.4f, heavy) the following month, suited by the emphasis on stamina to lead close home. Presumably been waiting for rain since and holds leading claims bidding for a hat-trick.

Smashing start over fences last year, completing a 4-timer in July. Found life tougher since and was well held attempting to retain his crown in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen (21.4f, good) 7 weeks ago. Down to a lenient mark but needs to show more with the headgear discarded.

Scored 3 times over hurdles for Dr Richard Newland but better form over fences for current connections, completing a quick-fire hat-trick in the style of one capable of better still at Uttoxeter in July. Excuses for his effort on the Flat 2 days later and remains of interest back in this sphere.

33/1 winner in the Grimthorpe Handicap Chase at Doncaster in March, his first victory since taking the same race in 2023. Poor efforts the next twice but back on track in a change of headgear at Cartmel in May (disqualified having lost weight cloth final circuit). Blinkers surprisingly back on.

Useful chaser at his best who took advantage of a slipping mark to resume winning ways back over fences at Uttoxeter (20f, good) 6 weeks ago. 5 lb higher and in a better race, so he's not an obvious one to follow up returned to 3m.

Won twice in small-field chases earlier this year but below that level in 3 starts for current yard. Probably still has something to offer, but that isn't to say he's of any great interest in this company.

All of these have been around the block but ART OF DIPLOMACY is in the form of his life this summer, so Mickey Bowen's 9-y-o is fancied to regain the winning thread returned to fences and complete a 4-timer. Pull Again Green arrives in search of a hat-trick, but he may have to settle for silver here, with another last-time-out winner Presentandcounting rounding off the shortlist.
