Twice successful in 2024 and holding his form well this time around, hit with a 3 lb rise on the back of his good Galway third when finishing a respectable sixth of 15 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f) 14 days ago. Back down in trip and expected to give another good account under Patrick Mullins.

Versatile sort who landed a big-field hurdle at Galway (16.8f) on penultimate start and backed that up from 5 lb higher mark when creditable second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Killarney (17f, good) 14 days ago. Player back on the level with the marked drop back in trip unlikely to hold any fears.

Likeable sort who landed back-to-back handicaps on Flat/over hurdles in May and remained in good heart since, good third of 11 in handicap hurdle at Tramore (16f, good to firm) 21 days ago. Runner-up on sole previous visit here and he looks sure to be in the thick of things again.

Fairly useful gelding who bounced back to form when making his sole start for Denis Hogan a winning one in 13-runner claimer (13/2) at Gowran (8f, good to firm) 22 days ago, cosily by 2¼ lengths from Harry The Rogue. Can go well again for new yard back in a handicap.

13/2
Flat/hurdles winner who cashed in off much-reduced mark when bagging this contest under this pilot 12 months ago. Didn't figure in pair of starts upon returning in the spring but given a break ahead of this and no great surprise to see a better showing with headgear now discarded.

Successful from a 6 lb higher mark on yard debut at Dundalk (1m) in December and held form well on AW thereafter. However, below form in a couple of turf starts thereafter and no upturn for return to polytrack when last of 9 in handicap at Dundalk (6f) 20 days ago. Tongue strap on for 1st time

Dual winner on AW around the turn of the year and he ran well when placed in handicaps at the Curragh/Fairyhouse earlier this summer. Exploits have been somewhat mixed on turf more recently but mark has steadily eased and he's an interesting runner for yard boasting healthy strike rate here.

Fairly useful gelding on Flat in his pomp. Yet to convince over jumps, reminders after first and folded quickly when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Killarney (20.2f, good to soft, 66/1) 12 days ago. Return to this sphere needs to spark a major revival.

19:10 Laytown - 4 September 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Claims can be made for a whole host here and with that in mind a chance is taken on EXQUISITE ACCLAIM. His recent efforts have been underwhelming but his mark has eased as a result and away from turf/representing a stable boasting a healthy strike rate with their runners here, he could well be ready to bounce back. Come On The Lads, Expound and Shoot To Kill are others expected to be firmly in contention. Quar Shamar is another to keep a close eye on, particularly if strong in the betting.
