Ran well twice at Chelmsford, finishing 3rd over 6f (18/1) in May and 2nd over C&D (7/1) in June. Lost chance at start latest, finished 7th of 12 in handicap at Newmarket (17/2) 29 days ago when again slowly away. Should appreciate the return to C&D but slow starts temper enthusiasm.

Won 7f handicap at Doncaster 28 days ago but sixth of 9 in handicap at Leicester (9/4) 20 days ago when awkward leaving stalls. Has 2 course and distance wins so ought to be competitive if he can bounce back at this venue.

Course winner is below last winning mark but has been inconsistent. Creditable effort when fourth of 8 in handicap at Brighton (12/1) 23 days ago without headgear, pushed along but didn't quicken. Isn't the easiest to catch right so remains to be seen if he can back that up.

Won at Yarmouth in June and bounced back to form when second at Lingfield in early August. Fifth of 9 in handicap at Yarmouth back over this trip 6 days ago, shaped better than the result having been denied a clear run. Remains well treated on best form and merits plenty of respect back on the AW.

Looked to have been brought along with handicaps in mind but has failed to improve, the latest finishing eighth of 9 at Newmarket (20/1) 43 days ago when soon beaten. Returns to AW without tongue strap and has plenty to prove.

Consistent handicapper with a course and distance win to his name earlier this year and several placed efforts here. Finished second of 9 at Ffos Las (2/1) 8 days ago when travelling well and running on. One to consider returning to this track.

Five-time course winner with good recent form including a close second over C&D in April. Finished fourth of 9 in a handicap at Yarmouth over 6f (13/2) 45 days ago, running respectably on a rare turf outing. Returns to 7f at this course and should be in the mix.

Windsor Pass arrives in fine heart and has a good record here, as does Thomas Equinas, a five-time course winner, who returns to his preferred 7f back at this track.
