Better than ever on all-weather early this year, winning at this 3 times from first 4 starts of the campaign. However, having risen in the weights he ran below form back on turf at Epsom (7f, good to soft) in June. Can still be competitive off this mark if back on song following a break.

Progressive 3-y-o, better than ever when recording his third win in 4 starts at Redcar (1m, good to soft) in October. Gelded prior to seasonal reappearance but finished well held in the Spring Mile at Doncaster. Changed yards since and would be a serious player if recapturing his best form.

Keen-going type channelled his energy more efficiently when landing a first handicap success over 1m at Sandown (good) last month. Confirmed that improvement when fourth in a far deeper race at Goodwood (9f) 8 days later. On the up and merits respect back on the all-weather.

Course winner hasn't got his head in front since Glorious Goodwood last year. Some promise early this season but was again not seen to best effect when seventh of 9 in at Haydock (7.2f), hung into traffic and finished with running left. Remains on a handy mark if things fall right.

Winner at Carlisle (7.8f) on soft ground in June and shaped as if still in form when fourth over C&D the following month. Confirmed himself still on a workable mark when an unlucky fourth in a 1m Ripon handicap 40 days ago and has good claims if he can translate that form to the all-weather.

In good form on the all-weather earlier this season (including win over C&D) but produced a laboured effort back on turf when ninth of 10 in a claimer at Chester (7.6f, firm) 25 days ago. Needs to bounce back from that but should be much better suited by this test.

Career best when winning 13-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) but well below form when losing his unbeaten all-weather record finishing thirteenth of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 7 days ago. Remains to be seen whether he can get back on track following a quick turnaround.

Had been in fine heart prior to ending a losing run in battling fashion in a 13-runner handicap at Yarmouth (8f) last month. Turned in another fine effort third when third at Windsor (8f) 2 weeks ago. That looks solid form and he should give another good account returned to the all-weather.

Landed second leg of a double when a C&D winner in February. Career best third at Southwell following a gelding operation and continued in good form when second of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to firm) 19 days ago, no match for improving winner. Still low mileage and could be more to come.

Notched his third success of season at Beverley (7.4f) and shaped well from a career-high mark when third of 11 in handicap at Haydock (8.2f, good to firm) 18 days ago, denied a clear run until 2f out. Remains one to be interested in on all-weather debut.

Made his fifth start a winning one in a maiden at Beverley (7.4f) in June and has progressed in handicaps subsequently, good second of 11 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f, firm) 14 days ago, only chinned late on having dictated. In excellent hands and no surprise to see him progress again.

Maiden was a fairly useful juvenile and he matched that level when fourth of 8 in handicap at Goodwood (8f) on return. Hasn't built on that effort since, eighth of 11 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f, firm) 14 days ago, not clear run from 2f out. Likely in better form than that run suggests.

Typical improver on debut for James Owen, landing 14-runner C&D handicap earlier this month. Disappointed back on turf when last of 7 in handicap at Musselburgh (9f, good to firm) 20 days ago. Now returned to all-weather and no surprise to see him get back on the up for excellent yard.

He's taken to make a winning all-weather debut, with Indalo feared most having confirmed his recent improvement in a deeper race at Goodwood earlier this month. On The River arrives in fine heart and remains on a workable mark, while Naepoint was a progressive 3-y-o and would be feared if back to his best on stable debut.
