5-y-o who arrives here better than ever, making it 2 wins from last 3 starts when taking 13-runner handicap (10/1) at Windsor (5.1f, firm) 10 days ago, well on top finish. Has to merit serious consideration again despite 7 lb rise.

Bagged a third 6f win of the year at Lingfield in June and right back to that level when third at Ascot on penultimate start. Found himself less than ideally placed from a low draw when twelfth of 14 in handicap back at Ascot (5f) 29 days ago and respected from 2 lb lower.

4-y-o who was successful on 3 of his 6 starts last season. Has yet to scale same heights this time around but better signs from reduced mark having been gelded when fourth of 8 in handicap at Beverley (5f) 51 days ago. Needs to build on that with cheekpieces fitted.

Much improved with a first-time tongue strap added when making all at Bath (5f) in April. Had excuses for below par efforts on 2 of his 3 subsequent starts, undone by track bias when last of 13 in handicap at Haydock (5f) 2 weeks ago. Will likely face pace pressure on the front end, however.

Dual winner at Doncaster last summer who made the frame on first 5 starts this campaign. Some way below his best when 6¾ lengths last of 13 to Rocking Ends in handicap (13/2) at Windsor (5.1f, firm) 10 days ago though, so bounce back called for.

Improved model this year, impressive when making all in 5f handicap at Lingfield in June. Not disgraced but seemed undone by a 10 lb rise when fifth of 15 in handicap at York (5.4f, good) 30 days ago but certainly not ruled out under a promising apprentice.

Mesaafi will find this less demanding than recent assignments at Ascot and is feared, as is the sole 3-y-o in the line-up, Diomed Duke.
