Isn't the easiest to catch right having not won in 12 starts going back to September 2024 but he ran well when third of 14 in a handicap at Dundalk (14/1) 9 days ago, one of this season's better efforts. On a workable mark if building on that performance.

Winner of 20-runner maiden at Navan prior to finishing first past the post in the Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh, subsequently demoted having caused interference. Again hung when down the field in the Hampton Court (also badly hampered) at Royal Ascot. Has been gelded and too soon to write off.

Arrives on the back of three runner-up finishes this season. Again strong in the market and shaped well when fifth of 16 in handicap over 10f at Naas (7/2 favourite) 20 days ago, just taking slightly too long to get going. Remains one to be interested in under a good value apprentice.

Won a juvenile hurdle in April but hasn't really fired in either code of late, latest ninth of 10 in flat handicap at Tramore (20/1) 8 days ago. Now back down in trip with something to prove.

Fairly useful colt who got off the mark in a Curragh maiden (1m) in October. Fared no better than on return when ninth of 12 in handicap at Leopardstown (5/1) 80 days ago, carrying head awkwardly before weakening. In good hands but needs to take a step forward to record a first handicap success.

Showed initial promise when second of 10 on debut last year but form has been inconsistent this season, most recently when fourth of 11 in maiden at Gowran Park 83 days ago. Has been given a break (gelded in the interim) and market may guide on handicap debut with yard also saddling Reyenzi.

Forecasts

Reyenzi (8/11), Molto Amichi (4/1), Star Harbour (15/2), Cap Saint Martin (8/1), Spoken Truth (8/1), Tashir (11/1), Ephesus (40/1)

17:10 Naas - 24 August 2025 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

MOLTO AMICHI has been knocking on the door with three seconds this season and shaped as if worth persevering with when a staying-on fifth over C&D last time. He appeals most under a good value apprentice and is preferred to Star Harbour who returned to form when third at Dundalk recently and is on a workable mark if he can back that up, while well-bred Spoken Truth could be worth another chance on only his second start in handicap company.
