Listed winner last year and ran well in similar company when third on reappearance at Wolverhampton in March. Ran a cracker (race run to suit) under this claimer following 4 months off, third of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 21 days ago. Back over 7f but remains of interest in a handicap.

Useful performer. Back to best when won 7-runner Group 3 Badener Meile at Baden-Baden last time by ¾ length from Namaron. Subsequently sold from S. Kobayashi €135,000 in July and has joined a useful yard. Something to find on form but interesting to see if there's any market confidence behind him.

Nineteen runs since last win in 2023 but that's reflected in his mark. Placed both starts here. Below form fifteenth of 27 in Buckingham Palace handicap (14/1) at Royal Ascot (7f, firm) 63 days ago, when left poorly placed. Effective on the all-weather and handicapper has given him another chance.

3-time AW winner last year (including here) and career-best when mugged on the line in the Lincoln in March. Had another wind op prior to finishing down the field on a quicker surface in the Buckingham Palace. Returns from break in a change of headgear and could be dangerous if things fall right.

Returned to form when creditable fourth of 21 in a 7f Ascot handicap but found 1m at the same track too much of a test at the Shergar Cup meeting earlier this month. Ought to be much more competitive back down in trip on return to the all-weather.

Had some strong 3-y-o form and was off 9 months before an excellent second in a C&D handicap on his final run for Roger Varian. Changed hands for 100,000 gns and is best forgiven his stable debut on soft ground having been slowly away. Solid claims on his previous form.

Useful winner for Eve Johnson Houghton. Showed he retained all his ability on first start for current connections when third in a C&D handicap but failed to build on that at York following a fairly quick turnaround. Has been freshened up and could be worth another chance.

3-time C&D winner, latest here in May (well held in deeper C&D handicap subsequently) and has been better than ever on turf since, good second of 13 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, good, 12/1) 19 days ago. Merits consideration back on the all-weather.

Ended long losing run at Haydock in July and ran right up to that form when third of 9 in a Racing League handicap at Chepstow (7.1f, good, 8/1) 14 days ago. Should remain competitive back on the all-weather.

Quirky but talented, third of 21 to Two Tribes (won Stewards' Cup since) in a 7f handicap last month but temperament again reared its head when below form seventh of 13 in a Racing League handicap at Chepstow (8.1f) 14 days ago, took strong hold. 1-1 at this course but comes with risks attached.

Landed a hat-trick at York last summer and latest win came here in August. Is back down the same mark but has proved hit and miss of late, started slowly and rushed forward when ninth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 21 days ago. Isn't badly handicapped but needs things to fall his way.

Solid juvenile form and shaped well from a break over 6f here in June. Not disgraced in a competitive handicap at Haydock subsequently and already faced a stiff task prior to being hampered in the Group 2 Lennox last month. Headgear removed and has been given a serious chance by the handicapper.

Won a Racing League handicap at Yarmouth in July and proved as good as ever next time when second of 9 in handicap at Chepstow (7.1f, good) 14 days ago, battling on well having set a solid pace. In fine heart but all-weather record to date is a mixed bag.

Promising second on reappearance in May and was well backed when shaping better than the result in the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot. Again strong in the betting but didn't help herself by hanging when third at Newmarket (7f) last month. Likely to prove popular in the betting again.

A wide-open handicap and it could pay to take a chance on DOSMAN who had some strong 3-y-o form and shaped well when runner-up over C&D in June. Best forgiven his recent stable debut when slowly away on soft ground, he may get back on track returned to the all-weather. Intrusively was a useful juvenile and is on a dangerous mark, so he's feared most back in a handicap, while previous C&D winner Eldrickjones has been in a rich vein of form for most of this season and should go well again.
